Superata was having his eleventh start (significant for those believers of lucky number 11) at Hawkesbury on the 14th April 2026. He had previously been placed on 6 occasions and all his starts had either been starts in super maidens or bonus races. He has now paid for himself – not an easy feat theses days.
His first start was in September 2024 as a 3yo at Cranbourne – also a bonus race, He ran third to horses that are now both black type winners. All his starts have been against strong form and running class to track records.
Superata then nearly had a year off after that run to mature.
Superata has raced competitively (in the first three) since his return at the end of 2025 with placings at Randwick, Warwick Farm, Kembla Grange & also travelling the miles to Scone & Taree for the bonus win..
Superata had pulled up well and he is now having a well deserved spell.
