Private Legacy after competing at the highest level in metropolitan group events in the spring, won her maiden at Kembla Grange in a class 1 event in February 2024. In the 1600m race she was sent out the $1.95 favorite.
A couple of weeks later she ran 4th in the Goup 3 event “the Kembla Classic”. Her next assignment was the Adrian Knox Stakes at Randwick, a Group 3 race and the filly ran 6th. This had been her lead up to the 2000m Australasian Oaks Group 1 at Morphetville, South Australia in April. The filly was ably ridden by jockey Craig Williams, to run second beaten 0.1 length. A very thrilling event for all her owners.
The filly has won over $280,000.00 with 1 win and 4 placings to date.
The Filly will next be heading to Queensland for the Oaks in June
