Pierata has had a fantastic start to his preparation in the run to the Everest.

In his last start Pierata recorded unbelieveable times to run second in the Concorde Stakes.

Sectional data from the Group 3 Concorde Stakes (1000m) shows Pierata sailed home from last in 31.61 for the last 600m, a time virtually unheard of, at Randwick.

Pierata clocked 10.52 (600m-400m), a sizzling 10.32 (400m-200m) and came home in 10.77 which was 1-1/2 lengths quicker than any other runner in the Concorde Stakes.

Pierata has continued unimpieded in his recovery and his demeanour never changes – a pleasure to work with.

Now on to the Shorts.
