Glounthaune has won his first race start in Australia since relocation to the stable a couple of months ago. A digital purchase. He is a son of the Champion sire Kodiac (GB), a son of Danehill.

Glounthaune won a Midway event over the 1400m on the last day of the ATC Championships, 19th April 2024. He was strongly ridden by jockey Jason Collet. This was Glounthaunes first win in 2 1/2 years – his last win was a Group 3 event in Ireland  – trained by A.P.O’Brien.

Glounthaune has always been a honest & genuine runner – he has not always had the best of luck in running and some track surfaces were not ideal. He has adapted well to the work now required. A lovely horse & pleasure.

An elated jockey Jason Collet
