Smartawi was able to win on both his last starts
Smartawi went to Muswellbrook on the 6th February 2023 for an easy win. He won by 2.5 L
He was ably ridden by senior rider A Bullock. They stalked the leader for a commanding win.
Smartawi then was off to Taree on the 19th February 2023, hoping to repeat his last winning effort.
This time a step up to the 1600m and again a win, beautifully ridden by A Bullock.
His owners travelled to Taree to see the win and celebrated.
